Larry is offering an afternoon class in May as well. It will go from 1:00-4:00 pm.
This four-session watercolor workshop is designed for beginners and those current watercolorists who want to achieve more realistic techniques in their travel scenes.
Instructor Larry Charles will teach five techniques for capturing landscapes in fleeting sunlight; quick-sketch plein air pictures; lifelike characters; watercolor postcards and travel journaling.
Workshop attendees should bring their own watercolor supplies, based on a list of recommendations from the instructor, which will be sent to you upon registration.
Expect to see one instructor demo during each three-hour class and plan to complete at least one watercolor each session.
Class cost: $200
Takes place in the Mesquite Art Studio at the Holland Center on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 – 4:00. Dates for this workshop are May 3, 10, 17, 24.
