Join in for this free session where the class will discuss the basic laws of gravity and will verify Newton’s gravitational laws through an engaged experiment. We will also discuss how sound travels through the air and how the human body processes sound. See a theremin demonstration, an instrument that relies on sound waves to be played without being touched, and observe and learn more about the vibration of sound through a “dancing rice” viewing.
Students will gain a deeper understanding of what studying physics could look like as a future career.
Taught by two accomplished Notre Dame Prep STEM students, this interactive class encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific discovery.
