In four Tuesday morning workshops, you will have the chance to sample both oil painting and acrylic painting as our art instructor, Larry Charles, guides you step-by-step through the process.
Each class features a painting demonstration by the instructor, followed by personal attention as you then create the same scene.
And, unique to any painting class in the Valley, the Holland Center will include all your classroom paints, brushes and canvases in your registration fee. This way you will be able to determine whether oil paint or acrylics are best for you without having to first buy any art supplies.
Topics will include color mixing, brush techniques, still life and landscape techniques, and how to pack a travel kit. And don’t worry, the instructor keeps the whole program light and easy.
