Your brain and heart are deeply connected, and the earliest signs of risk often appear years before symptoms begin. Thanks to very recent medical breakthroughs, new non-invasive screenings can now detect early indicators of Alzheimer’s disease and cardiovascular conditions with greater accuracy than ever before. As part of our Cognitive Health Series, Dr. Brian Browne is offering these cutting-edge screenings at no cost, right here at The Holland Center, giving you the opportunity to take a proactive step toward protecting your long-term health.
Please note- this is a 2 session process, you must attend on May 13th before you can schedule your screening on May 15th.
What’s Included: Two Powerful Screenings
- pTau Blood Test – Alzheimer’s Risk Detection. This advanced biomarker screening measures phosphorylated tau (pTau)—a protein that becomes elevated in your blood as your risk for Alzheimer’s disease develops.
- Detects early biological changes associated with Alzheimer’s
- Helps differentiate Alzheimer’s from other forms of dementia (up to ~90% accuracy in studies)
- Simple blood draw—no invasive spinal taps or costly PET scans
- Designed for adults ages 55–70
- Enables earlier, proactive interventions to slow progression
- Lp(a) Test – Cardiovascular & Vascular Dementia Risk. This screening evaluates lipoprotein (a), a genetically influenced cholesterol particle strongly linked to cardiovascular disease
- Identifies hidden risk for heart attack, stroke, and vascular dementia
- Helps detect atherosclerosis (“hardening of the arteries”) before symptoms occur
- Particularly valuable for individuals with family history of heart disease
- Provides actionable insight beyond standard cholesterol testing
- Designed for adults 18 and over
