Discover the gentle power of Tai Chi in this three-session class designed for beginners as well as returning enthusiasts. Tai Chi offers an enjoyable hour of beneficial, low-impact exercise that can provide meaningful health benefits—particularly for balance, flexibility, posture and over-all well-being. Medical Research has shown Tai Chi may also provide stress reduction and improved cardiovascular fitness.
Each class begins with breathing exercises and gentle stretching before learning Tai Chi techniques in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Although Tai Chi originated as a defensive Martial Art form hundreds of years ago, as an exercise practice it involves slow, flowing movements without an opponent.
