In this class, students will be introduced to beginning basic sewing skills using a sewing machine. Students will make a fun and festive Halloween Treat Bag.

Students will learn about sewing machines and how to thread the machine, sew straight lines and  follow shapes as they sew together their own fun, festive and reusable Halloween treat bag.

Class will include a 30 minute lunch break.

Open to all students; not required to reside in CCUSD.

LOCATION: Class wiil be held at The Holland Center. Register with The Holland Center or ECS.
FORMAT: In-person classroom
INSTRUCTION METHOD: Hands-on, Workshop
AGES: Youth ages 9-14
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginner
PREREQUISITES: None
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a lunch, water, and wear closed-toe shoes
FEE: $15.00 – includes use of sewing machines and materials.

Eva is an experienced seamstress and quilter and is passionate about helping students learn basic lifelong sewing skills.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 14 or more days prior to the first day of class will be refunded, minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations less than 14 days are non-refundable.
