Take realistic drawing to the next level—or build confidence as a beginner—in four workshops with nationally recognized artist and instructor Larry Charles. Through step-by-step demonstrations, hands-on practice, and personalized problem-solving, participants will learn to draw faces, perspective, fabric, shading, lighting, and movement, while addressing individual challenges such as realistic fur, hands, and water.
Create two one-of-a-kind fused-glass flower bowls in colors you choose. Arrange pre-cut petals, frit, stringers, and pebbles to design your blooms. Your finished pieces make beautiful year-round décor or functional holders for jewelry and small treasures. Projects require kiln firing and slumping and will be ready for pickup within two weeks.
Teens ages 14–18 are invited to join the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Cadet Program — a unique opportunity to learn about law enforcement, build leadership skills, and serve the community. Weekly Tuesday afternoon sessions provide hands-on training and real-world insight into public safety. This is a drop-in program—students can start at any time.
