In four Tuesday morning workshops, instructor Larry Charles will answer the biggest challenges facing people who like to draw. Whether you are a beginner or someone ready to go to the next level in realistic drawings, this class will focus on problem-solving at the tip of a pencil.
Explore the art of fused glass and create a piece of holiday art. Using pre-cut pieces of glass along with frit (ground glass), pebbles, and other glass items, you will design your own unique festive piece of curved glass art. Make a festive keepsake for the future - or to give as a holiday gift.
In four (4) classes, Larry Charles—a nationally-recognized, exhibiting artist and expert instructor—helps you learn how to draw better with new techniques to capture what you see more accurately from landscapes, to still life, to people. Each class begins with a demonstration by Charles, followed by step-by-step advice as you draw and create beautiful art.
Explore fused glass art by creating two colorful flowers with your choice of petals and colors, then design unique blooms using frit, stringers, and pebbles. Pieces will be kiln-fused and slumped into graceful forms, and will be ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks.
